Some clients are mislead about the colon hydrotherapy devices.

Please read the entire section of “Differences Between Closed and Open Systems” to find out why one is much more preferable than the other.

"The LIBBE Colonic Irrigation Device is an FDA registered Class II device for colon cleansing when Medically Indicated, such as before radiological or endoscopic examination. Colon irrigation takes place in an integrated clinical setting, affording the patient both modesty and dignity and the practitioner ease of use. The LIBBE Device is comfortable and allows the patient the simple release of the contents of the large intestine (colon) during a session. Each session uses 20 gallons or less of filtered, ultraviolet purified water, which is controlled through a temperature control sensor. Should water temperature go above 104°F (40°C) power shuts off. The LIBBE Device was developed to assist the healthcare practitioners and patients for a simpler comfortable preparatory method prior to medical procedures, such as before a colonoscopy".1

At New Life Health & Wellness Center we chose to work with the LIBBE Colon Irrigation Device.

The LIBBE system is a FDA registered (Class II) medical device.2  It is manufactured in compliance with strict FDA guidelines that dictate rigorous accountability.

LIBBE can be used as a non-laxative preparation for colonoscopy or when medically indicated.

How does the LIBBE device function?

The Patient/Client is always completely draped to maintain personal comfort and peace of mind. A small rectal nozzle is gently and easily inserted in privacy. Rectal nozzles are 'size of a pencil' and will go in only as far as 1 to 1.5 inches. They are single use only and disposed of immediately after each session.

Water flows through a Carbon Filter which removes any sediment, rust, or chlorine. The water is purified by an Ultra Violet Purification System, before it passes through the rectal nozzle. Water flows gently into the rectum and waste releases naturally, around the tube. The client can release at any time with having to inform the therapist.

A gentle slow rate of UV purified water is fed from the gravity-fed column. Less than ten gallons of water might be used during a session at a safe temperature of 98 F. to 103 F. Water temperature is safely controlled and adjusted. An Odor Exhaust System insures that the session room and the entire center remains odor free.

The LIBBE base (table) has over three feet of clear viewing tube, which gives the patient/client and the therapist an option to easily view (without any odor) the waste during releases.

A rinsing sprayer is used to rinse the client's bottom after each session.

A trained colon hydrotherapist is always nearby to monitor and provide patient/client assistance and comfort as needed.

After each session the LIBBE device is safely disinfected.
